“La Dame” is een elegante en verleidelijke Chenin Blanc met meer kracht en diepgang. In de neus rijpe aroma’s van peer, kweepeer en citrus, verfijnd met subtiele honingtoetsen en lichte houtinvloeden. De kalkrijke tuffeau-bodem van Parnay geeft de wijn zijn kenmerkende frisheid en minerale spanning.
In de mond genereus en gelaagd, met een prachtige balans tussen rijp fruit, levendige zuren en subtiele romigheid door 12 maanden rijping op eikenhouten vaten. De afwezigheid van malolactische gisting behoudt de frisheid en precisie van de Chenin. De afdronk is lang, complex en nobel, met indrukwekkende bewaarkracht.
Deze Saumur Blanc combineert verfijning met structuur en kan tot wel 20 jaar rijpen in een goede kelder.
Perfect bij vis in romige saus, verfijnde kruidige gerechten en als stijlvol aperitief.
